In this week's episode, A'ndre and Ryan talk about the Quad — an informal set of security meetings between the United States, India, Australia, and Japan — given President Biden’s virtual meeting with the other three leaders of the Quad today. They discuss what exactly the Quad is, and give you a preview of what you might expect from these meetings, and whether the Quad is truly meant to counter China. After digging into the Quad, they discuss Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin’s visit to South Korea, Japan, and India, and what it might mean for U.S. security policy in the Indo-Pacific region with regards to China.
